THE BEGINNINGS

1998

After several years working for office furniture distributors in the greater Quebec City area, founders André Le May and Pierrette Larente decided to set up their own company, driven by a shared desire to do things differently.

Trained as designers and renowned for their approach and exceptional customer service, internationally renowned manufacturers such as Steelcase and Groupe Lacasse were quick to support them in their endeavours.

THE EVOLUTION

2006

Having been looking for larger premises for several months, an opportunity arose to open a showroom that would double the size of the current premises.

Now moved into their new showroom, located in phase 1 of Place d'affaires Lebourgneuf, Solutions M3 now boasts a beautiful, vast showroom, a mezzanine for administrative offices and a warehouse.

With the wind in its sails, new people have joined the team (representatives, designers and assistants), enabling the company to work on larger projects such as Anapharm.

THE MEETING

2013

Soon to reach retirement age, our co-founder Pierrette Larente, decided to leave the adventure to start a new one, sailing away with a long-time friend.

Now the sole captain at the helm, André decided to look for a successor to ensure the continuity of what he had been building for 15 years. After a few unsuccessful meetings and exchanges, it was in the autumn of 2013 that he met Patrice Tremblay, owner of a small web agency in Quebec City.

The two entrepreneurs became fast friends and saw the potential of a new market: the web!

THE ACQUISITION

2015

For 1 year now, the company has been selling its commercial-quality products throughout Quebec via its transactional website.

With new challenges, a revised corporate structure and objectives, and a lease coming to an end, André had always dreamed of owning his own commercial building.

Using their real estate contacts, the two entrepreneurs found this beautiful commercial building on the outskirts of the Saint-Émile and Lac-Saint-Charles areas of Quebec City.

 

THE RELIEF

2019

Having put an end to the activities of his business to become involved full-time in learning this new field, Patrice becomes a co-shareholder of Solutions M3 and now focuses on developing and deploying his vision of becoming an industry leader!
